Case Study: Marie’s Lapis Cafe

  • Marie’s Lapis approached us to help with their marketing. Whilst they were posting rather regularly before, they couldn’t seem to get the results they wanted: Reach, engagement, and ultimately, more customers.

    Our diagnosis was that content that they put up was of low quality and without much planning (e.g. inconsistent, random). They also created content that did not resonate to the viewers on social media.

    Their story is not isolated. Many F&B owners face the same challenge as they are busy with operations.

  • We took 1 day to speak to the owner and understand his brand story.

    What is important to most F&B owners is that their “why” is exemplified through their brand.

    But what is most important to most audiences on social media is that the content resonates with them and that is engaging.

    We then strategised to ensure that the content we created would achieve both.

  • After strategising and planning, we handed the owners a list of content shoots we wanted to proceed with.

    They liked the ideas and we headed down to capture these.

    They wanted to accentuate the fact that the cafe produced authentic Peranakan foods. So, we invited the owner’s mother down to take part in some of the shoots.

    Blending modern scriptwriting, trendy social media content, and new shooting techniques, we captured various content using our company’s 3 pronged strategy.

    This ensured engagement, credibility and business promotion. We essentially created a funnel for them on social media.

  • We released the content for the world to see and received great results.

    More than 7000 views from the first video and the others hovering close to 1000 views each.

    The new pictures posted also breathed a fresh life in to the social media pages for the cafe, signalling to viewers that this was a high quality cafe.
