ib lounge:

A new player in the competitive tuition landscape in Singapore was seeking help on how to stand out and attract customers.

The start was an uphill climb as we conceptualised the branding that ib lounge were to showcase to their customers. We established different facets of their brand from brand colours to marketing messages to website design and marketing strategy.

After laying the base, it was time to execute the strategy. We incorporated various media types based on the key decision makers (parents and students). We performed live photography and videography shoots of their classes to show their vibrant tutors in action and together with the staff from ib lounge, created content.

Finally, we posted the content through various social media outlets including but not limited to: Quora, Youtube, Internal Blogs, Reddit and Instagram.

ib lounge saw a surge in customer calls during the pandemic (where many other tuition centres were struggling), pushing the start-up from an unknown business into earning 5 figures in revenue.

The ib lounge website promotes it’s services (through media such as pictures) but also tells customers about its branding and why they should choose ib lounge.

Testimonials in the form of video shoots (posted on Youtube) and as text on the website helped to provide credibility.

Posting on other platforms (e.g. Quora) also helped to increase the reach of ib lounge, helping customers know them better and about them. Idea generation and writing of the content are some items we developed.

Engaging in photography and videography sessions with the ib lounge tutors and Founder helped to portray a story. It also invited customers through various forms of media (picture, videos, text) through different platforms (Instagram, Youtube, etc).

Blog posts that were created helped to drive customers to the website when they searched for related content.

Customised marketing campaigns such as giving customers ebooks upon joining our mailing list helped to boost sales and conversions.
